If you are a new business owner you may have a limited budget to devote to designing a website for your business. The mistake we quite often make is that we think it's going to cost a LOT of money to start a business. While there are cost that you will not be able to avoid, there are also less expensive options that you can choose instead of "going for the gusto" right out the gate. At the end of this blog, I share some free or low-cost resources that can help you get started.
1. You want your clients to take you seriously.
2. People are very visual and like looking at pretty things.
3. You want to start creating your digital footprint
If you are looking to create visuals on your own you have Canva as an option to design things yourself which is pretty user friendly and there is a free version available. Another resource for email automations or campaigns is MailChimp. Like Canva this is a free or low cost option if you are interested in creating your own email content. We should all know about the free social media platforms that can be used to increase sales. But just like the others, there is a paid option to promote advertisement as well. One last resource that can be used for free is Zoom. This resource can be used to record video meetings for free if the meetings are short, but you have the option to pay for longer meetings and even to host webinars.
I hope that you find these resources useful, but if you decide you would rather higher a graphic designer, email me at designs@authorteemarie.com.
